When we learnt that we would play in Spirit of 66 again, we were very pleased for many reasons.
Firstly, we have already played there three times and every time response of the audience perfect and unforgettable, due to which gigs were amazing for us.
When we are asked about the best gigs ever, we always say SPIRIT OF 66, really!!!
Apart from the audience, crucial issue is Francis and his very careful ear, thanks to him it is very comfortable to play on the stage.
As far as festival is concerned, I could say shortly - I envy you that you
have such festival.
I regret a lot that in Poland we do not have something like this. There were
some attempts to organize such event but sooner or later everything went in
vain.
Festival like yours, is a great thing not only for listeners, who have an opportunity to listen and watch very often different bands - so everyone finds something for him/her self , but also for us performers it is great fun and experience to meet bigger audience and listen to bands from other countries. And it is always good to learn from others, especially when you have an opportunity to play with such great band like FOCUS.
As far as organization goes, I have no questions, Everything was perfect!!! We were very pleased about so "hot response". Frankly it was our second such serious gig in new line-up, and first in place which has been visited so many times by us. I t was big unknown how our "new" incarnation would be responded. But we think it was ok.
